An important clue:
It is recommended to change all water filters at the latest after 6 months in accordance with the Drinking Water Ordinance according to DIN 1988, Part VIII, regardless of how many liters of water are through your shower filter durchgeflosen.
The anti-aging shower filter is enough for about 8,000 liters. If you consume more than the prescribed maximum amount of water within 6 months, or if the water is heavily polluted, this is clearly noticeable due to the greatly reduced water flow. Then it is recommended to replace the filter cartridge before.
For a long time suspension from operation
If you can not use your shower filter for a longer time (longer than 4 weeks) it is recommended to renew the anti-Agin filter cartridge from Smarald®. Alternatively, the filter may be cleaned, disinfected and stored in a dry place prior to operation suspension. After the break, the new cartridge can simply be inserted and the filter put back into operation.
