Application
Application:
It’s very simple: Assemble the Smarald® universal shower filter between faucet and shower hose – done!
An important note:
It is recommended to replace all water filters at the latest after 6 months according to the to switch according to the Drinking Water Ordinance according to DIN 1988, Part VIII, regardless of how many liters of water have flowed through your shower filter.
The anti-chlorine shower filter is sufficient for about 8.000 liters. If more than the specified maximum amount of water is used within 6 months, or if the water is heavily polluted, this becomes noticeable due to the significantly reduced water flow. In this case, it is recommended to replace the filter cartridge earlier.
In case of a longer suspension from operation
If you are unable to use your shower filter for an extended period of time (longer than 4 weeks), it is recommended to replace the Smarald® anti-chlorine filter cartridge. Alternatively, the filter can be cleaned, disinfected, and stored dry before the suspension of use. After the break, the new cartridge can simply be inserted and the filter put back into operation.
We can take care of a filter change reminder for you. We offer all our customers a free reminder service by email or call. We can send you a year's supply of your new filter cartridges directly to your home once a year free of shipping costs. Our annual filter set consists of 4 anti-chlorine filter cartridges. If interested, please contact us via Contact to our Smarald® team.

„A very sturdy, recommendable shower hose. Very important and decisive - is the very sturdy - - INNER hose - probably a nylon material combination, which can easily withstand several twisting movements. My previous - cheap - shower hoses had a very simple, very thin rubber hose, which burst twice after intensive use, causing the annoying water mess. I therefore bought 3 of these at once.“
